The fish lamp is the most popular item in our classroom it has really help my students stay calm when they are having a blue day. Our science and social studies learning experiences were more engaging, thought provoking, fun and full of interesting inquiry. \r\n\r\nHaving the headphones, and charging stations, help us individually focus on our dedicated computer time, content programs levels of success, and collaborative research. \r\n\r\nThe mice were repurposed to use with classroom laptops when collaborating on research projects, and participating in digital formative assessment game-like activities using Kahoot and Edpuzzle.\r\n\r\nIn between content lesson cycles we were able to creatively bring our learning to life through art by making replicas of explorative scientific concepts and models that further expand our understanding of the world around us. Students deepened their understanding of organisms by artfully creating three dimensional models of animal environments. Students also demonstrated their map reading and making skills by drawing a map from the cafeteria to the play ground which shows cardinal directions, a legend, and landmarks.\r\n\r\nTo sharpen our critical thinking skills we spend time learning how to patiently build Lego architecture that is reflective of important structures throughout our world. We have learned the importance of organization skills and the value of literary patience while building using graphical maps instead of words.\r\n\r\nAll of these extended and enhanced learning experiences were made possible through your generous donations.
