As a literacy teacher, it is important for my students to feel represented in the books they read so they can DREAM BIG, SONAR EN GRANDE. My students are primarily English Language Learners and of immigrant backgrounds, this book will inspire them to work hard and believe in themselves, no matter where they come from. As a class set, my students can read this together or take it home to enjoy.
