They are engaged in their new learning. The butterfly life cycle kit is apart of my students daily learning. They are taking responsibility daily with collecting data and keeping track of the caterpillars life cycle. \r\nScholars are changing the number tracker to track how many days the caterpillars are growing and changing. Everyday it's a new finding for them. \r\nWhen my scholars received the package they were so excited when they saw all of the materials that we received.\r\n\r\nMy students will continue to study the life cycle of a butterfly with and understanding that butterflies have a lifecycle that they live through in any season. Scholars are able to apply their prior knowledge and new learning with hands on when discussing and observing the caterpillars. \r\n\r\nThe science activities will be used in the many science lessons I'll teach for example we are on lesson force : push and pull scholars were able to learn and play with the balls and ramp and were able to identify the type of force.The animal viewer will give my scholars a different lens to learn in. Scholars are able to see various animals and where they live. \r\n I am looking forward to implementing all of the hands on science materials in my lessons. \r\nWe are truly blessed to have received your donation. When the students arrived in the class they were so excited to see that we had new \"stuff\" for our room. The new easel is benefiting my students at small group because now I have a sturdy place to write that is tall enough for the students to see. It is magnetic too so that is a plus for hanging things I need students to see as well. The dry erase magnetic dots are perfect for individual student practice. Each student gets their own and it is cutting down on our paper usage. My treasure box is now overflowing with incentive/reward items. I love seeing students light up when they have a chance to go to treasure box for their hard work during our group time. The phonics games are a hit with students. They are practicing needed skills and having fun while doing it. Again, I am grateful for your donation and appreciate your support.","fullyFundedDate":1733414868242,"projectUrl":"project/making-reading-intervention-funone/8580921/","projectTitle":"Making Reading Intervention FUN.....One Student at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Natt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4466966_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1495382903419","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/www-donorschoose-orgsonjanatt"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_94644","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":697,"numTeachers":46,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":64,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":29,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":59.4,"schoolId":94644,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rosa Parks Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Rosa Parks Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/fort-bend-independent-school-district/rosa-parks-elementary-school/94644"}
