As I embark on my 3rd year of teaching, I am continuously striving to provide a notable educational environment and experience for my students. However, it cannot be done alone and definitely "takes a village." I plan to have the items monogrammed/labeled "Donors Chose YOU!" It is imperative for students to know they "were chosen" and that someone selected to invest in them. Early learners significantly benefit from hearing a book read. It helps children focus on the sounds of words without interruption and provides a model of fluent reading. The microphone portion will be utilized for recording and playback for students to hear their personal development. The flexible seating options will encourage and motivate students in a less stressful, yet comfortably enhanced learning space. Our classroom library needs MUCH growth, so the more books, the merrier. Other requested supplies are those "little extra" pieces to make for an extraordinary learning environment.
