Your support has helped our class be successful starting from the very first day of school. The supplies provided allowed students to have notebooks and folders set up and ready to use the moment they stepped foot into the classroom. For my students with too much energy, the fidget bands on the chairs have helped them burn excess energy in order for their brains to focus on learning. The math manipulatives have been put to good use in helping model abstract concepts for students. Our classroom has been free of germs as we have put all the cleaning supplies to good use and have taken care of our space. The students have been able to feel successful and taken care of in their classroom this year, all thanks to your help!\r\n\r\nThe next steps for us are to keep learning and growing! We have been deep diving into the curriculum already and we have so much work to do. Right now, our 5th graders are learning all about adding and subtracting fractions while our 4th graders have just begun their unit on division. In reading, we are working on writing strong paragraphs and thinking deeply about the stories we read in order to infer theme. We are working hard to continue growing so that we can meet our IEP goals at the end of the year and show what we know.
