Once the pricing was done, we set up the store and allowed the students to see the new items and get excited about them. Then, we began paying them for the work they completed during intervention.\r\n \r\nWhen the first group of students came to intervention, they immediately got excited seeing that the store was restocked. Their work level and attention to the lessons were at an all-time high. After taking them back to their classes, we heard them telling the other intervention students about the store. Needless to say, the following group was already excited without even seeing for themselves.\r\n\r\nThe store is not just a one-day excitement. Yes, the students could purchase small items the first time with their earnings. However, some decided to save to buy bigger, more expensive items. This shows that the store and the items they purchase are not just a one-time motivator.
