With your help I was able to get small birthday gifts to celebrate special days in the classroom. I also made new additions to my student library for both students who struggle to read in English and those with stronger reading skills. \r\n\r\nI wanted my classroom to become a colorful space where students learn to love to read books that interest them. The banner in addition to bookshelf, and cart will help me create that space for them. I am appreciative of those who donated to make my classroom a better space for my students. When I started receiving all my boxes students began to get curious and asked what was in them. When I started opening they were very excited to begin reading some of the books that were donated. A lot of my students immediately read more and asked if those books were their AR level. They were excited to learn about Creepy Carrot and Creepy Underwear. \r\n\r\nMy next steps are to continue adding books to our classroom library that will immerse my students into new worlds where they can learn about both fictional characters and other cultures.
