My students were thrilled to each have their own personal space to store books, folders, and supplies. One student even exclaimed, \"Now I won't lose my pencil every day!\" That little moment captured just how big of a difference these seat sacks have made.\r\n\r\nWe've been using them daily during reading and math rotations. For example, during our literacy block, students keep their leveled readers and journals right at their seats. This has cut down on transition time, allowing us to dive deeper into reading discussions and small group work. A recent favorite project was our \"Book Buddy Reading Time,\" where students grabbed their books quickly and settled in with a partner without the usual scramble to find materials.\r\n\r\nThe best part has been watching how proud and responsible the students feel having their own organized space. Many of them take ownership by keeping their seat sacks neat and ready, which supports their independence.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are beginning a nonfiction writing unit. The seat sacks will help students keep their research notes, graphic organizers, and drafts right at their fingertips. This way, instead of spending time searching for papers, they can focus on creating their very best work.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting our classroom—you've given my students not just a tool for organization, but also a sense of pride and ownership in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1750774731131,"projectUrl":"project/seat-sacks-for-supplies/9388062/","projectTitle":"Seat Sacks for Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Needham","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8648222_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1675201786339","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/aubryneedham"},{"teacherId":6949295,"projectId":8220791,"letterContent":"Ever since we received your kind donations, the students in my dyslexia classes have thrived and grown exponentially!
