“Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.” – Jim Rohn Reading is the building block of all success in academics. My students are coming from many different backgrounds and are at many different levels, so it is a challenge to meet all of their reading needs without a variety of materials. We are at a new campus, so our toolbox of materials isn’t as full or varied as some. As I meet with students daily for our targeted reading interventions, high-interest materials are needed. While many resources are available, having easy-to-pull materials makes this process smoother and faster.
