We use this pitching machine every day to help us to become better hitters and baseball players. When the machine first came in, our players were so excited. They helped me take it down to the field and set it up. They were so excited about hitting off of it.\r\nAs the season continued, the machine helped us to improve our hitting and results in the game. The players noticed the improvement, especially getting to see the various pitches the machine can throw.\r\nAgain, thank you so much.","fullyFundedDate":1734710287039,"projectUrl":"project/to-be-successful-you-have-to-hit-help/8944916/","projectTitle":"To Be Successful, You Have to Hit! From day one, they were thrilled to explore new task bins, visual schedules, and job simulation tools. One student lit up when he completed a shape sorting activity independently for the first time. Another has become our \"class manager,\" proudly leading peers through the morning rotation using the visual cue system.\r\n\r\nWe've already begun simulating jobs like packaging, sorting, folding, and customer service. These resources support academic goals while teaching responsibility, independence, and confidence. A class favorite has been \"Work Skills Days\" where students rotate through stations just like a real job site. They're building muscle memory, learning new vocabulary, and developing a strong sense of pride in their work.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include launching a work task room where students use and are evaluated by job coaches, having station to conduct mock interviews, and connecting with community partners to provide feedback. These tools have transformed our classroom into a launchpad for their future success. Because of you, our students are learning with joy, dignity, and purpose.
