They were eager to explore the instruments, and our classroom quickly filled with smiles, laughter, and sound. For many of my students, this was their first time having hands-on access to real musical instruments, which made the experience even more meaningful.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the instruments during our daily lessons to explore rhythm, movement, and self-expression. One of my favorite moments was during a small group activity where students worked together to create their own rhythm patterns. They took turns playing, listened to one another, and even began to coordinate their sounds as a group. It was incredible to see them practicing teamwork, patience, and creativity all at once.\r\n\r\nThe materials have also helped students who sometimes struggle to communicate express themselves in new ways. Music has become a positive outlet for energy and emotions, and I have noticed increased engagement, improved focus, and stronger classroom connections since introducing these resources.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to build on these experiences by incorporating music into our literacy and movement activities. Students will create simple songs, connect music to stories we read in class, and continue developing their understanding of rhythm and sound. We are also excited to prepare for small performances where students can showcase what they have learned.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students now have the opportunity to learn, create, and grow through music in ways that were not possible before. Thank you for bringing joy, creativity, and meaningful learning into our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1768936626976,"projectUrl":"project/music-movement-and-language-for-my-pre/10036737/","projectTitle":"Music, Movement, and Language for My Pre-K Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gosset","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3418047"},{"teacherId":3418047,"projectId":7363247,"letterContent":"When my students first saw the new Cricut machine, their faces immediately lit up with excitement. They were so curious about how it worked and eager to start creating. What started as simple introductions quickly turned into hands-on learning experiences where students were designing, exploring, and bringing their ideas to life.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the Cricut machine to create classroom materials, personalized labels, and fun visual aids that support our daily lessons. One of my favorite moments was watching my students work together to design and decorate items for our classroom. They practiced sharing ideas, taking turns, and problem-solving as they decided on colors, shapes, and designs. It was amazing to see their creativity and confidence grow through the process.\r\n\r\nBeyond crafts, the Cricut has allowed me to create more engaging and visually appealing learning tools that capture my students' attention. Whether it's interactive labels, themed decorations, or hands-on activities, these resources have made our classroom environment more exciting and supportive for all learners.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we plan to use the Cricut machine for even more student-centered projects. Students will help create materials for classroom activities, special events, and even gifts for their families. This will continue to build their creativity, fine motor skills, and sense of pride in their work.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students now have access to a tool that inspires creativity, collaboration, and meaningful learning experiences every day.","fullyFundedDate":1684559551177,"projectUrl":"project/cricut-for-pre-k/7363247/","projectTitle":"Cricut for Pre-K","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gosset","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3418047"},{"teacherId":6979266,"projectId":10008368,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity, because this is my first year teaching pre-kindergarten. My materials were very limited at the beginning of the year. I remember when I first showed my students what you have donated to our classroom, they started screaming and jumping up and down. My students are having more fun learning hands-on because of you. \r\n\r\nOne activity that I loved doing with the dot markers was letting them create their 100 days of school T-shirts. They really enjoyed having the power to write on their shirts for a day and paint the dots forming a big cloud of nothing but different color dots. The shimmery ones were their favorites and made their T-shirts sparkle.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation I now will begin implementing differentiated small group activities. For example, the Ready for Preschool activity books and the Busy Book Montessori books are great for teaching and reviewing with my students doing small groups as well as whole class instruction. I will definitely implement those into my daily routine.","fullyFundedDate":1769177014829,"projectUrl":"project/the-joy-of-reading/10008368/","projectTitle":"The Joy of Reading","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tusing","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6979266_orig.jpg?crop=1284,1284,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1776301998769","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6979266"},{"teacherId":6979266,"projectId":9966852,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity, when I first showed my students what you have donated to our classroom, they started screaming and jumping up and down.
