Your generosity in providing lab kits transformed the way my students are learning about Environmental Science. \r\n\r\nThis year, students have repeatedly shared that our class feels like one of the most engaging classrooms on campus, and that would not be possible without hands on learning opportunities funded by projects like this one. The lab kits you helped provide allow my students to conduct water quality analysis, soil testing, biodiversity sampling, and sustainability simulations that mirror real world environmental research. What means the most to me is that students are talking about our labs at home with their families, and for juniors and seniors, that kind of excitement is rare and really special. The photos I've included show students completing a mark-recapture activity using plastic spiders, a simple and fun way for them to learn how scientists estimate population size!\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our classroom and, more importantly, in our students' success and enjoyment of science. Thanks to your support, that goal has been exceeded! The notebooks are no longer just a place to write facts; they've become a vibrant, organized, and personalized study tool that my students are proud to use.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our classroom and, more importantly, in our students' success and enjoyment of science. Because of you, my students now have access to individualized materials that are already making a powerful difference in their learning. Your donation helped ensure that each one of them has the tools they need to feel confident, focused, and prepared. Whether it's a personal notebook to track progress, headphones to support concentration, or a laminated resource they can reuse and take ownership of, these supplies are more than just materials—they are stepping stones toward equity and empowerment. The laminator, in particular, has already become a favorite tool! Students light up when they see their work or helpful learning aids preserved and personalized for them. It's helping them stay organized and feel proud of their growth. Since getting the materials donated, we have used every single thing and the students continually say it is so cool that we have access to these things. \r\n\r\nCurrently, the small rainbow bins and the large soft bins have both been put to use in the student center. The small rainbow bins are used by the students to collect supplies for their tables during project workdays. This has kept supplies organized and allowed me to give them full access to all of the markers, crayons, pencils, etc. The large bins hold class sets of dictionaries, paper workbooks sorted by class period, and small group sets of novels. Putting them in bins has kept my library area organized and has increased the amount of books being checked out enormously. \r\n\r\nThe snacks donated have been a great treat for my advisory students after completing their state testing this last month and have been enjoyed immensely by my after school clubs as well. I have had so many students say how thankful they are and think it is such a treat!\r\n\r\nI can even report that they were so excited to receive lysol wipes that they have been cleaning the whole classroom!
