We use our dry erase boards and markers many times a day, so these wear out. I'm set there. Likewise, pencils and paper are essential, and they're here for us. Furthermore, both sections exceeded my expectations on a recent quiz, and so the games that came in helped us all take a short break.\r\n\r\nI've learned that timing is a key element in teaching. We all lose the thread if there are pauses and distractions in the presentation. Having these supplies helps all of us keep our attention on what matters - getting these students ready to go into the world and be successful.\r\n\r\nThanks again for your gifts. These may seem like small things, but they've made a huge difference in our students' daily lives.\r\n\r\nSince receiving your donations, we've been able to respond quickly and compassionately when students come in with scrapes, sniffles, or small spills. One moment that really stood out was when a student came in after a minor fall and, instead of feeling embarrassed or upset, they lit up when they saw the fun Band-Aid choices and the comforting atmosphere. It may seem simple, but having these supplies helped that child feel cared for, safe, and ready to return to class with a smile.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our clinic space feels more welcoming and better prepared. It's a small but vital part of keeping our students happy, healthy, and ready to learn. As we continue into the school year, we're focusing on helping students build responsibility for their personal hygiene and health. Having these supplies easily available is helping reinforce those important life skills every day.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our school community.
