I see students light up when they recognize words in Spanish and make connections between the two languages. For many of them, it's the first time they've seen their language and culture represented in the books we read together. It's been a powerful experience — one that builds confidence, pride, and curiosity.\r\n\r\nWe use these books during read-alouds, in our classroom library, and even during small group lessons. They've become some of our favorite stories to share.
