I have been using them with my 3rd-5th graders, but my younger students have even been asking when they get to play and learn them too. Since having the instruments, I have seen many students who were previously not engaging with class consistently, have a newfound interest for coming to music and are loving getting to do something individually and as a class to express themselves through music in this way.\r\n\r\nI am so looking forward to getting to use these instruments next school year throughout the entirety to provided engaging lessons and opportunities, get kids excited to learn about music, and increase my students music skills every time they come to class in a way that they are excited about.","fullyFundedDate":1769177280650,"projectUrl":"project/let-our-students-strum/9994714/","projectTitle":"Let Our Students Strum!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Massey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10399471"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8013","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":409,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":86,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":38,"percentWhite":4,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":50,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":60.4,"schoolId":8013,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about J.A.
