The fidgets will be helpful now that phones have been banned in the state of Texas. Many of them already use them and are eager to keep their hands busy while they work.\r\nThey are also excited to have comfortable spots in which to sit while working this year. While I have tables and chairs, the new papasan chairs will be a welcome reward for working hard and doing their best.\r\n\r\nThe bins will be put to good use as \"easy to grab for the whole table\" materials. They will be picked up and used as needed as we read through texts and work on projects throughout the year. They will hold the pencils, colored pencils, and highlighters that were purchased. It is exciting to be able to use new items and have them readily available this year instead of scrambling to find the supplies.\r\n\r\nOur new \"class pet\", the weighted Husky, will be available for use for those who need a quick snuggle, because even high school juniors need some love, too. I look forward to seeing all of my students being comfortable using him as needed.\r\n\r\nI truly appreciate all that you have done for teachers like me.
