Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in our classroom, and I want you to know just how much your support has impacted my students.\r\nMy students are amazing learners with special needs who work hard every single day. Before BrainPOP, some lessons could feel overwhelming when concepts were presented primarily through traditional reading, worksheets, or lectures. BrainPOP has given me another way to teach—one that is visual, interactive, engaging, and much better suited to the way many of my students learn.\r\nSince receiving BrainPOP, I have been able to use videos, activities, games, and quizzes to introduce and reinforce important concepts in a way that captures my students' attention. Instead of simply hearing about a new idea, my students can see it, hear it, interact with it, and practice it. That has made a noticeable difference in their participation and understanding.\r\nOne of the biggest improvements I have seen is increased confidence. Students who might initially say, \"I don't understand,\" are more willing to try when they have an engaging visual lesson to guide them. They can revisit material, work at their own pace, and practice without feeling like they are being left behind. Those small successes add up—and I have seen more smiles, more participation, and more students willing to take a chance on challenging material.\r\nBrainPOP has also helped me create a more independent classroom. My students can interact with lessons and review concepts without always needing an adult beside them. For students who are preparing for life after high school, developing that independence is incredibly important.\r\nMost importantly, BrainPOP has helped make learning fun. My classroom is filled with students who deserve to experience the same excitement and sense of accomplishment as any other learner. When a student finishes a lesson, answers questions correctly, or suddenly makes a connection and says, \"I get it!\"—those are the moments that make teaching so rewarding.\r\nYour generosity did more than provide a classroom resource. You gave my students another way to succeed. You helped make difficult concepts more accessible, gave my students opportunities to work independently, and helped create a classroom where learning feels less overwhelming and more exciting.\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their success. Because of your support, my students are not only learning—they are discovering that they can learn, they can succeed, and they have so much to contribute.\r\nYou truly helped make their brains—and their smiles—POP!","fullyFundedDate":1763165688726,"projectUrl":"project/different-abilities-same-pop-portuniti/9641688/","projectTitle":"Different Abilities - Same Pop-portunities!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Fowler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8439575_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756653898457","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8439575"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_10459","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":3000,"numTeachers":205,"percentFrplEligible":11,"percentAsian":56,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":21,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"10 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"14.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":92.1,"schoolId":10459,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Coppell High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Coppell High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/coppell-independent-school-district/coppell-high-school/10459"}
