Students are using the rulers to create dilations of some of their favorite cartoons. These dilation projects have been some of the coolest pictures I've seen while teaching, students can really get into the details of their cartoon and also get to see what a real world example of what dilations are. \r\n\r\nThe colored pencils and sharpeners bring these dilations to another level, adding color and detail to the images and creating something the students are truly proud of.
