The students really enjoy using the tracing board for practice. The tracing board uses a lot of typing paper and ink since we have so many students in art. They are allowed to use the tracing boards for practice after they create their major grade projects. This process increases their hand eye coordination while allowing them to improve their drawing skills. Pre-K through fourth grade really enjoy using this as a station. This year, the kindergartners have really started to use it a lot. It also fosters patience. I bought my own computer printer, and I purchase a lot of typing paper and ink toner every year. I have almost 600 students and they love to use the Crayola trace boards after their major grade projects. They practice tracing their favorite characters. This is a station that is wonderful and helps their hand eye coordination. Tracing the color sheets helps them learn how to draw detailed characters in a fun way. The station activity also increases their patience when creating Art. I now have kindergarten students who are using the light board and traces detailed pictures which is wonderful to see.
