We are using the markers, flashcards, pencils, and board materials daily to support both whole-group instruction and small-group learning. For example, during a recent lesson, students used flashcards and markers to break down key vocabulary terms and create their own visual study aids. This hands-on activity helped them better understand and remember important concepts, especially for my students who benefit from visual and tactile learning. Many of my students don't always have access to these materials, so this project truly made them feel supported and valued.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, we are able to continue building independence and confidence in the classroom. Our next steps include using these supplies to support ongoing lessons in reading comprehension and writing. Students will be creating more interactive study tools, participating in small-group activities, and practicing organizing their thoughts using visual strategies. These resources are helping them grow not only academically, but also in their confidence as learners.\r\n\r\nThank you for making a direct and meaningful impact on my students' success!","fullyFundedDate":1774991146191,"projectUrl":"project/setting-students-up-for-success-one-sup/10174545/","projectTitle":"Setting Students Up for Success, One Supply at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Reyes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9815901_orig.jpg?crop=2227,2227,x453,y624&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1729876854048","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9815901"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8891","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":944,"numTeachers":58,"percentFrplEligible":40,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":64,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":22,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"16.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":88.9,"schoolId":8891,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about China Spring High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"China Spring High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/china-spring-independent-school-district/china-spring-high-school/8891"}
