One of the first projects we worked on was creating math vocabulary visuals and anchor charts. Students designed and cut out key terms like \"numerator,\" \"denominator,\" and \"decimal,\" then used them to build interactive displays we can refer back to during lessons. This made the learning much more hands-on and meaningful for them.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the Cricut and materials, their reactions were priceless—they were immediately engaged and couldn't wait to start creating. Many of them had never used anything like it before, so it brought a lot of excitement and curiosity into the room. Even students who don't always show interest in traditional assignments were eager to participate.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, we are now moving into our next steps, which include student-created projects. Students will be designing review tools such as math manipulatives, labels, and even small project pieces to support upcoming STAAR review. We also plan to incorporate cross-curricular projects where students can create visual displays for other subjects.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible. This allows for less anxiety a out asking for help and allows to productive struggle. \r\n\r\nAllowing my students to become life long learners and have a love for math.
