A resounding yes! \r\nOur students were able to take these books home as part of the library system, to be brought back for others to read, learn, and share!\r\nWe thank you so much for providing our students the opportunity to share their culture with us.","fullyFundedDate":1679524900456,"projectUrl":"project/welcome-pashto-speaking-friends/7127506/","projectTitle":"Welcome, Pashto-Speaking Friends!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Serna","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2233279_orig.jpg?crop=1667,1667,x0,y185&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758510842665","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2233279"},{"teacherId":2829951,"projectId":9217111,"letterContent":"Thank you for your kind donation to my classroom. As I unpacked the materials, one student exclaimed, \"These are so cool—I can't wait to make words!\" Another said, \"This is going to help me get better at reading!\" Their excitement filled the room, and it was clear that these tools would spark not only learning but also joy.\r\n\r\nWe immediately began using the materials during our literacy centers. Students eagerly worked together to create new words, challenge each other with spelling games, and practice forming there own names. One student proudly told me, \"Look, I built a word all by myself!\" while another said, \"Can we keep playing this game when we are done with our work?\" These resources have given them the confidence to take risks, explore new vocabulary, and celebrate their progress with one another.\r\n\r\nWhat has been especially meaningful is watching how the materials have encouraged relationship-building in our classroom. Students who were once hesitant to participate are now partnering with peers, offering encouragement, and cheering each other on. During a recent activity, one student turned to another and said, \"I can help you with that—we can figure it out together.\" In that moment, I saw how the tools were not just teaching words, but also fostering kindness, teamwork, and connection.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to continue integrating these resources into our daily literacy routines and upcoming writing projects. I know they will strengthen my students' reading and language skills while also deepening their ability to collaborate and communicate. One student summed it up best when they said, \"Now learning words feels fun, not hard.\"\r\n\r\nThank you so much for making this possible. Your generosity has not only given my students the gift of learning but also the gift of building stronger relationships with each other.","fullyFundedDate":1746452356462,"projectUrl":"project/amazing-students-with-autism-and-many-se/9122790/","projectTitle":"Amazing Students with Autism and Many Sensory Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Belmontes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9741197"},{"teacherId":7727797,"projectId":8630182,"letterContent":"Muchas gracias!
