It makes such a HUGE difference to have access to what we need without needing to purchase individually as needs arise. We have several projects coming up that, normally, I would be worried about because of needing certain supplies and certain times, and this year, I just get to look forward to the students' experience.\r\n\r\nOur classroom is much easier to follow the flow of now that things are color-coded, and students had fun assembling their binders to be ready to go when we need them. We also were able to use the colored paper to make paper chains in an activity where students added a link for every item they had in common, and those are decorating our space now as well. Additionally, another teacher wanted to also incorporate binders once she saw ours, and we were able to use ones that already existed at school to make that possible for her, since I had the ones from Donors Choose all ready to go.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support of my students and public education as a whole. Proper nutrition plays a crucial role in enhancing concentration, boosting energy levels, and improving overall academic performance. By providing healthy snacks, we supported our students not only in their educational journey but also in their overall well-being. The snacks you helped make available to any student who needed them ensured that these needs had been at least partially met.\r\n\r\nWhile the snacks were made available to any student who needed them, we designated the AVID classroom as the central hub for this initiative. This space will not only served as a location for snacks but became a warm and welcoming environment. We created a place where students felt comfortable and inspired to learn. After an hour of working, the winners are revealed and students excitedly choose their prizes. Several of the students that day asked what their friends wanted and shared their prizes, which was so sweet to witness. The favorites are the new types of Squishies and the Takis.\r\n\r\nThere have also been opportunities for rewarding all students in a class.
