Using the Artograph EZ Tracer projectors, students projected images onto the board and traced characters of their choice to design posters that defined and provided examples of simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex sentences. They used the poster boards and a variety of markers to add color, detail, and personality to their work, which made the learning process both meaningful and memorable. The ability to visually represent their understanding helped students make stronger connections to sentence structure and express their learning in a way that felt exciting and personal.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were immediately curious and eager to use them. My freshmen were thrilled, and even my sophomores couldn't help but notice—many jokingly asked why they didn't get the same supplies! The excitement in the room was genuine, and that enthusiasm carried over into their work. The cleaning supplies also played an important role, allowing students to take responsibility for maintaining their learning space by cleaning dry erase boards, tables, and shared areas. This helped reinforce classroom ownership while keeping our environment clean, safe, and welcoming.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, these materials will continue to support project-based learning in my classroom. I love giving students opportunities to demonstrate their understanding through visual displays, and now I can regularly showcase their work around the room. The projectors and art supplies allow me to incorporate more visual aids and creative projects into lessons, helping students of all learning styles succeed.
