Many of my students come from bilingual households where resources like these are not always easily available, so seeing our classroom filled with new learning materials, colorful supplies, and fun rewards made them feel valued and excited to learn. They immediately began asking how they could earn stickers, books, and class treats, and it was heartwarming to see their motivation soar!\r\n\r\nWe are using these resources daily to reinforce positive learning behaviors, celebrate reading growth, and build confidence in both English and Spanish. During small-group reading time, students work harder to meet their goals, knowing their effort will be celebrated. Even students who once hesitated to participate are now eager to share their ideas and read aloud with pride. The classroom has become more joyful and focused, with students cheering for each other's progress and showing genuine excitement for learning.\r\n\r\nThis project has truly transformed our classroom culture. My bilingual students feel seen, supported, and appreciated and that sense of belonging has strengthened their motivation to grow as readers and learners. Thanks to your generosity, our class is filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and a renewed love for learning. ¡Gracias de todo corazón!","fullyFundedDate":1756093261240,"projectUrl":"project/motivation-matters-rewards-that-spark-l/9630724/","projectTitle":"Motivation Matters: Rewards That Spark Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Esparza","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5762920"},{"teacherId":9150629,"projectId":9572411,"letterContent":"When my students first walked into the classroom and saw the new flexible seating, their faces lit up with excitement. Many of them immediately gravitated toward the exercise ball chairs and bike pedals, eager to test them out. It was wonderful to see students who are usually restless or distracted suddenly settling into their chosen seats and focusing more easily on their work.\r\n\r\nWe are already using these new seating options during reading groups and math stations. For example, one student who often had trouble staying on task during writing has been choosing an exercise ball chair, and the extra movement has helped him stay engaged long enough to finish his writing with pride. The classroom feels more collaborative and comfortable, and students are learning to make choices about which seat best supports their focus for different activities.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building on this momentum as we move through our reading and math lessons. With the addition of the exercise ball chairs and other flexible seating choices, students can select the spot that best helps them concentrate and stay engaged. Your generosity has transformed our classroom into a place where students feel comfortable, focused, and excited to learn, and it is already making a meaningful difference in their daily success.","fullyFundedDate":1756093261467,"projectUrl":"project/move-focus-learn-flexible-seating-for/9572411/","projectTitle":"Move, Focus, Learn: Flexible Seating for Bright Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Chinchilla","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9150629_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y200&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1691027700428","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9150629"},{"teacherId":9150629,"projectId":9344640,"letterContent":"Thanks to your incredible support, our classroom is now filled with vibrant, powerful picture books that reflect the diversity of our students and the world around them. These books have sparked deep discussions, joyful connections, and meaningful action. From the moment the box was opened, students eagerly reached for stories that represented their cultures, identities, and dreams, and they haven't stopped reading since!\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading isn't just a quiet activity; it's a launchpad for curiosity and conversation. Each week, we've centered our reading around a theme such as identity, fairness, or belonging. After reading, students participate in group discussions, write reflections, and brainstorm ways to share what they've learned with others. These books have helped my students develop critical literacy skills, such as making inferences, identifying themes, and expressing opinions with evidence. More importantly, they've helped them find their voices.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding parts of this project has been witnessing my students' genuine excitement during read-alouds and independent reading time. As soon as these new books became available, students began asking, \"Can I read this next?\" or \"Can we read this one together?\" Read-aloud sessions have turned into vibrant discussions, where students make connections to their own lives and ask big, thoughtful questions. During independent reading time, they're engaged, focused, and often trading books with each other when they finish. These stories have sparked a love of reading, and for many of my students, it's the first time they've seen themselves and others reflected so powerfully on the page.","fullyFundedDate":1748442982570,"projectUrl":"project/books-that-build-brave-voices/9344640/","projectTitle":"Books That Build Brave Voices","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Chinchilla","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9150629_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y200&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1691027700428","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9150629"},{"teacherId":9056704,"projectId":8695675,"letterContent":"I am overwhelmed with gratitude for your generosity and support I'd my classroom project!.
