With my project being filled my students have been able to have snacks when they are feeling a bit hungry thought out the day. Students make their way to my office different times of the day when they are feeling a little hungry and it's a great time for me to check in with them to see how they're doing and to have a short conversation with them. \r\nThe snacks have also been great when we have a group meeting, example we were having a group of students apply for a leadership program as they came to meet about the program it was great to be able to give them a treat for completing the application or for them to enjoy during the meeting. \r\nI have also given a treat to students that are doing a good deed on campus, another example one of our students pick up trash that his friend dropped instead of walking over it he took the time to pick up the trash and placed it in the trashcan -- he didn't think anyone saw him so I gave him a snack and thanked him for keeping the school clean. \r\nHaving this project filled has not only given students a place to come and grab a snack when they are hungry, we have also used them to give to students as a treat for positive behavior.","fullyFundedDate":1733319709151,"projectUrl":"project/high-school-students-need-snacks-to-focu/8609253/","projectTitle":"High School Students Need Snacks to Focus!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. O'Quinn Dixon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9562736"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8422","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":247,"numTeachers":16,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":95,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":90.0,"schoolId":8422,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Anthony High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Anthony High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/anthony-independent-school-district/anthony-high-school/8422"}
