Your support has given my students something they truly appreciate; the ability to walk into class and have the supplies they need readily available. They don't have to worry about remembering materials from home or trying to find what they need before they can get started. Instead, they can focus their energy on being creative, developing their ideas, and doing their best work.\r\n\r\nWe are putting these supplies to good use! Students are using them to prepare and complete projects, create mini displays of their work, develop business and marketing concepts, and turn ideas that started on paper into something they can actually show and share. I love watching them take ownership of their projects and add those creative touches that make their work their own. The cards have been a wonderful addition as well. Every now and then, students simply need a short mental break during a busy day, and having something fun available for those few minutes gives them a chance to reset, connect with classmates, and come back ready to work.\r\n\r\nI am incredibly thankful for your investment in my students. These may seem like simple classroom materials, but having them available makes a real difference in what we are able to do each day. Most importantly, my students know that people outside of our classroom cared enough to invest in their learning and their ideas. Students created a Compare and Contrast Double Bubble Map to showcase the similarities and differences between themselves and their entrepreneurial match.\r\n\r\nIt has been wonderful to see their creativity and excitement as they work, and having all of the supplies we need has made completing this project so much easier and more enjoyable. My students and I have truly been enjoying and making the most of the new resources. These materials have been used across so many projects and daily activities, and they have already made a meaningful impact on our learning environment.\r\n\r\nOne project that really stood out was our Famous Entrepreneur Project. Students used the pens, poster paper, and Sharpies to create life-size versions of their chosen entrepreneurs. They researched, planned, designed, and proudly presented their work, and the creativity and excitement in the room were incredible. Seeing their ideas come to life with quality supplies made the project even more engaging and memorable for them.\r\n\r\nThe students were absolutely thrilled when they first saw all the materials arrive. There was a lot of excitement, curiosity, and eagerness to start using everything right away. Even the everyday tools have become classroom favorites—believe it or not, the 3-hole puncher is a huge hit! Additionally, the Clorox wipes have been invaluable in helping us keep our classroom clean and organized, which supports a healthy and positive learning space.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our students are able to continue learning through hands-on projects and collaborative activities. Our next steps include building on these experiences with future research projects, presentations, and creative assignments that allow students to take ownership of their learning. Your support has truly given our donors a peek into our classroom, and we are so grateful for the difference you've made in our students' educational journey.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our classroom and our students!","fullyFundedDate":1755521974676,"projectUrl":"project/empower-learning-every-supply-counts/9474656/","projectTitle":"Empower Learning: Every Supply Counts","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. CORTEZ","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9584458_orig.png?crop=1024,1024,x0,y133&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1773429833050","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9584458"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_11533","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1731,"numTeachers":71,"percentFrplEligible":14,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":73,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":18,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":4,"gradesServed":"10 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"24.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":85.7,"schoolId":11533,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Aledo High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Aledo High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/aledo-independent-school-district/aledo-high-school/11533"}
