Your donations have made a significant impact, allowing our Teague Middle School students to become mentors and share their love of reading, storytelling, and art with students at Ogden Elementary. The project has not only been a fantastic way to foster creativity but also an incredible opportunity for our students to develop leadership and communication skills. Your support provided us with new resources that have been key to the success of this project. The books by Scott McCloud have taught the students so much about story telling and comic making. The mentors have used this knowledge to teach the elementary students how to plan their stories from one panel to the next and how to build a coherent and engaging narrative. The manga series Blue Lock has also been a huge source of inspiration. It's an action-packed story about teamwork, competition, and self-improvement, which has helped our students think about how to create dynamic and exciting narratives.
