My students absolutely love the materials we received from this project. Every morning, we use pop-its as a way to transition from arriving to breakfast time. The rainbow colored pop-its we received to help with my students' sensory needs have become a favorite for several of them. They love seeing knew things in our classroom, but the rainbow pop-its have been a highlight for them.\r\n\r\nThe seasons sensory bottles are also important to my students who enjoy sitting and watching the different objects floating in them while calming down. Those were also beneficial during our weather unit in science. My students would match the bottles to the appropriate season and explain what was \"falling in the sky\".\r\n\r\nThe emotion hand-puppets and I feel/I can chart have come in handy when a student is struggling and needs an individual social-emotional lesson to help them work through their feelings. I'd like to incorporate these materials into whole group and small group lessons to work on emotions and coping skills as a class more. While individual lessons have proved beneficial for my students, I'd love to broaden how many are impacted with these materials. Again, thank you so much for your generosity!
