These STEM board books help children learn how to wonder, ask questions, notice patterns, and make sense of the world around them. They build early language, math, and science skills in ways that feel playful and exciting.\r\n\r\n Reading in our classroom is hands-on and interactive. Children gather close, point to pictures, share ideas, and revisit favorite books again and again throughout the day. The sturdy board books are especially inviting for little hands and give students the confidence to explore books independently.\r\n\r\n Our special needs students and emerging communicators are especially drawn to these books. The clear images, simple text, and real-world connections help them feel successful and included. We've seen children who are often quiet become engaged, smile with pride, and use new words during play. These books are helping every child feel capable, curious, and valued as a learner.","fullyFundedDate":1754323158614,"projectUrl":"project/stem-books-for-small-hands/9391814/","projectTitle":"STEM Books for Small Hands","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Strong","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5636570_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1533668343620","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5636570"},{"teacherId":10074391,"projectId":9454119,"letterContent":"The students and I are using the Reading and Math resources during the ELA & Math block times. It was a lot of fun to open and unpack them with the students. They felt a great deal of excitement because they were a part of the process. A few days later they came into the classroom and saw a brand new rug that was large enough for them all to fit on. That was surely the icing on the cake. They love laying on it to complete writing work or station activities. Every morning they come into class they go straight to the rug for our morning meeting.\r\n\r\nWe will continue to use and appreciate all our resources we were given by our donors.
