The students really enjoyed observing each stage as the caterpillars grew, changed into a chrysalis and finally butterflies emerged. Their excitement was evident when we were able to release them. \r\nWe were also able to use supplies to write in a butterfly journal as we kept up with our observations like real scientists! \r\nWe are currently using our hands on materials to explore magnets and circuits as a review and to deepen understanding for our TN Ready Assessment. The students are looking forward to more project based learning with other parts of the curriculum.
