The impact you have had on my middle school reading intervention students has been profound. Suddenly, they see their faces reflected in the books on the shelves in my classroom. I reached out to our librarian to help me cover and protect these book so I know they will have a long life. I try to take one home a week so we can talk about all of the new books and points of view we are reading about. I truly cannot thank you enough for these bright and beautiful new books. \r\n\r\nI am hoping that the more my struggling readers pick up these books, that it will have a lasting impact on not only my Special Education students, but the rest of their peers and fellow teachers.
