With limited supplies and resources, providing the level of rehabilitation and education that our athletes deserve can sometimes be challenging. Your support has helped change that.\r\n\r\nThe anatomy posters, heating pads and covers, rehabilitation equipment, rehab table foam cushions, and ice roller have provided resources that were previously lacking in our training room. These supplies allow me to provide more effective rehabilitation and recovery services at school rather than relying solely on what was previously available. They also give our athletes access to quality equipment and a training environment that communicates how important their health, safety, and recovery truly are.\r\n\r\nThe anatomy posters have been especially valuable as educational tools. They allow me to better explain injuries, anatomy, rehabilitation exercises, and expected outcomes to student-athletes, helping them become more informed and active participants in their own recovery.\r\n\r\nOn a personal level, this project means even more. I have wanted to complete and improve our athletic training room for more than three years, but with limited supplies and support, making those improvements has been difficult. Your generosity helped make that goal possible. Seeing the training room become a more functional, professional, and welcoming space has been incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nMore than just equipment, you have provided our student-athletes with opportunity. You have helped ensure that students in a rural community have access to resources that can support their recovery, education, and athletic experience. Every time an athlete uses this equipment to recover from an injury, learns more about their body, or feels encouraged by having a better place to receive care, your generosity is making an impact.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our student-athletes and in a school community that may not always have access to the same resources as larger programs. Your support has helped me become a better athletic trainer for our athletes and has helped create a training room that our students can be proud of.\r\n\r\nI am truly grateful for your generosity and for believing that rural student-athletes deserve the opportunity to receive excellent care, recover properly, and continue doing what they love.","fullyFundedDate":1778014133424,"projectUrl":"project/helping-rural-athletes-recover-and-rehab/10138345/","projectTitle":"Helping Rural Athletes Recover and Rehab","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Dallyn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10460360_orig.jpg?crop=1179,1179,x0,y121&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1773109306816","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10460360"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_39747","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":555,"numTeachers":38,"percentFrplEligible":65,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":72,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":18,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"6 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"14.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":64.3,"schoolId":39747,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Jo Byrns High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Jo Byrns High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/tennessee/robertson-county-school-district/jo-byrns-high-school/39747"}
