Students and parents have been able to receive photos of some of the students' biggest moments in their middle school years that would not have been available without this camera and lens. Students were recently shown some amazing action shots that were taken during a sporting event. Comments included things like: \"Wow! I can't believe you got that on camera!\", \"That camera is awesome!\", \"Please send these to my mom!\", \"This picture is going in the yearbook, right?\", and \"I wish we had this camera before now!\" To say all of us at Linden Middle School are appreciative of your donation is an understatement. Having this equipment available to capture these students' memories is one small way we can show them we care and what they do matters. Recently, we have been working on division, so we used the division whiteboards to help. After doing a few problems together, a student said, \"Wow, this is actually pretty fun.\" Learning to divide is typically one of the units that students need the most support for, so we appreciate the extra tool that can help with that. Not only have I noticed a huge improvement in their learning, but many of them enjoy it!\r\nAlso, we have used the game cards a couple times when we had a few minutes left in class. They love it! It is a fun game to play, while also reviewing key skills they may have forgotten or just to build fluency. Similarly, we have used the math manipulatives, such as the dice, for reviews and group work. It is amazing to have the option to try new learning activities, and I believe it helps them to remember the skill. \r\nOn a personal level, I have loved the standing desk and light cover. In my opinion, the learning environment plays a huge role in children's education. Keeping a nice, open space without the harsh lighting has definitely amplified our classroom.
