The pencil sharpeners, floor cushions, and classroom mailboxes have transformed our learning space in ways I hadn't anticipated.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw these materials, their faces lit up with genuine excitement. The floor cushions have become a favorite spot for independent reading and small group work, and the classroom mailboxes have sparked a wonderful culture of peer communication and encouragement among the students. They have taken ownership in putting their materials away and knowing where their items stay in my classroom. The pencil sharpeners are a big hit as our art teacher has the same ones. One student took ownership in sharpening pencils for the next day on their own. What started as a simple organizational tool has blossomed into a meaningful way for students to support one another.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly enriched our classroom experience, and I'm grateful for your investment in my students' learning and growth.","fullyFundedDate":1776445489480,"projectUrl":"project/sharpen-sit-and-send-hq/10128373/","projectTitle":"Sharpen, Sit and Send HQ","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Branson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10455648"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_92195","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":447,"numTeachers":29,"percentFrplEligible":19,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":67,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":15,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":7,"gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"15.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":79.4,"schoolId":92195,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Woodland Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Woodland Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/tennessee/oak-ridge-city-school-district/woodland-elementary-school/92195"}
