The snacks, Pop-Tarts, cookies, and treats have been especially helpful for students who may come to class hungry or need a little boost during the school day. It has been wonderful to see how something as simple as having a snack available can help a student settle in, focus, and participate in the lesson. The tissues and Lysol wipes are also helping us keep our classroom clean and welcoming for everyone.\r\nMy students were extremely excited and grateful when they saw the snacks and other supplies. They immediately noticed that these resources were provided with their needs in mind. The treats have also been a fun way to celebrate effort, improvement, and positive classroom choices. Students enjoy knowing that our classroom is a place where both their academic and everyday needs are important.\r\nOur next step is to continue creating an environment where students can focus on learning without small needs becoming distractions. As we move through our upcoming math lessons and projects, these supplies will help students stay comfortable, focused, and motivated.
