With crayons in hand, they transform stories into vivid scenes, characters into expressive portraits, and ideas into visual masterpieces. These illustrations are more than just drawings—they are reflections of comprehension, creativity, and personal connection to the literature they engage with.\r\nBy integrating artistic expression into our library curriculum, we nurture a deeper love for reading and storytelling. \r\nThe use of crayons in the library allows our scholars to visualize and interpret stories in their own unique ways, develop fine motor skills and artistic confidence and express emotions and ideas that words alone may not capture.\r\n\r\nThis creative practice not only enhances literacy but also empowers our scholars to become confident communicators and imaginative thinkers.
