The manipulatives you helped provide were not only exciting but essential. It was truly moving to watch our children engage with the tools independently, their faces lighting up with curiosity and confidence.\r\n\r\nThe snacks and nourishment you made available were a quiet but powerful gift—especially during testing or for those who simply didn't have enough. I am writing with a heart full of gratitude to say thank you for your generous donation of the Mac Mini to my classroom. Your kindness and thoughtfulness have already made a world of difference in the lives of my students, and I wanted to take a moment to share just how impactful your gift has been.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment we opened the package, my students were buzzing with excitement. We explored the unboxing process together, taking time to admire and understand what each piece was and how it all worked together. We even watched a video that helped us learn more about the Mac Mini and what it could do. This introduction sparked curiosity and immediately opened the door to deeper learning.\r\n\r\nWith eager hands and bright minds, we began learning how to connect the Mac Mini using just a keyboard and a mouse. This simple task became an empowering moment for my students, many of whom had never worked with this kind of technology before. They were amazed at the possibilities and proud of themselves for learning something new.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting activities we completed was using Scratch. The students collaborated, helped each other problem-solve, and used their creativity to build their own characters. They named them, designed them, and brought them to life right on the screen. Watching them explore coding and digital creation for the first time was truly inspiring. They were not only learning how to use the Mac Mini, but they were also building teamwork, confidence, and essential 21st-century skills.\r\n\r\nWe've only just begun exploring all that the Mac Mini can offer. We've taken a few digital \"tours,\" tried out new tools, and discussed the many ways technology can help us grow. The students are so engaged that I've decided to start a new Mac Mini Club. This club will allow us to dive deeper into how the Mac operates—inside and out—giving more students a chance to explore digital literacy, creativity, and coding in a fun and safe environment.\r\n\r\nYour generosity didn't just provide a piece of technology. It opened up a world of opportunity. It showed my students that people believe in their potential, in their future, and in their ability to learn and lead. For students at an inner-city school, this kind of access and encouragement means everything.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for your support. You have not only blessed our classroom with a valuable tool, but you've also inspired a new sense of excitement and purpose in my students. I look forward to sharing more of their progress with you as they continue to grow, create, and dream big—all.","fullyFundedDate":1733795362318,"projectUrl":"project/mini-minds-big-futures-empowering-3rd/8993134/","projectTitle":"“Mini Minds, Big Futures: Empowering 3rd-5th with Mac Mini Technology”","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Dodson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9840734_orig.jpg?crop=1088,1088,x0,y272&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731883090323","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9840734"},{"teacherId":9101728,"projectId":8859111,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generosity in supporting our student athletes at Douglass K8 Optional school.
