It was so much fun watching classes enjoy the story together in the sunshine! Last week, we created an indoor, back-to-school themed trail (because it's a little too hot outside!) to welcome our students back to school. The trail was up for Meet the Teacher Night for families to enjoy and throughout the first full week of school.\r\n\r\nStorybook Trails are such a fun way to welcome students into the building, get them excited about reading, and put a love of books at the heart of our school. In April, students learned so much about the importance of bees and how to encourage others in our community to help protect the bees. We made \"Save the Bees\" buttons that the students wore proudly around the community and shared with others! It was so great to see them working hard to improve their community!\r\n\r\nWith leftover supplies, we were able to create more buttons at the start of the school year this fall! Students made \"All About Me\" buttons that helped them to make friends and discover common interests with their peers.
