Before these cubbies they would have to get their materials from multiple places and it would take so much time. This is a time saver and so much neater than what we were doing before.\r\n\r\nThe rolling cart organizes our materials for small groups. Each class period has 2 drawers and it is so easy to keep what they need to work on at my fingertips. The kids love being able to grab materials from the cart and gather their group mates. \r\n\r\nI am thrilled with the outcome this small project had on my class and our organizational skills. They are so excited to have access to these devices this year. \r\n\r\nWe are utilizing these iPads to access organize and update our data this year. We are keeping digital data notebooks through Microsoft Teams. Having these iPads gives students the chance to write on their digital notebook pages with ease. We have been using paper and pencil to track and since we are still learning organizational skills the papers get lost or hard to read. \r\n\r\nWith the iPad, keyboard case and Apple Pencil we can use class notebook through the teams app and have the option to type or write with the pencil to record our data which makes things much easier for them to keep up with. We have also been able to use the iPad to discuss data progress on the go by accessing data charts and displays anywhere in the building.\r\n\r\nThese items have also improved math intervention groups because I am able to use the iPad to display the problems and use the Apple Pencil to model how to solve the problems in the format that matches what the students see in their work.\r\n\r\nThese items have students excited to update their data because of the amazing technology they get to use. Most of my students had never used a dedicated calculator tool before but were familiar with calculators on their phone or Chromebooks. The excitement of having a dedicated calculator to use for checking their math problems created a lot of excitement. \r\n\r\nSince we received these so promptly we were able to get a few days of practice use in before our end of year testing so the students were prepared and knowledgeable about how to use the tools on the test. The large poster that came with the calculator will be useful for modeling how to input information into the calculator as we are learning for students who need visual support. Lastly, the calculator pockets will help us stay need and organized so that we will be able to use the calculators for many years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this opportunity possible for the students in my school! The students are also big fans of the testing privacy folders. They now have the ability to relax and do their best when testing without worrying about others taking advantage of their work. The other big item they were grateful for are the new whiteboards. We were working with some pretty stained and dirty boards and now we can confidently solve math problems because we have a clean area to work.\r\n\r\nYour donations of other various headphones and supplies also are being used daily to help us perform our very best on each and every assignment.
