Thanks to your generosity, my students are actively using these new resources every day to support their learning and independence. We have been incorporating them into small-group instruction, hands-on learning centers, and individualized practice tied directly to student goals. One moment that truly stood out was during a math lesson when a student who often struggles to stay engaged was able to independently complete a task using the new materials—something that previously required adult support. Seeing that confidence grow was incredibly meaningful.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their reactions were filled with excitement and curiosity. Many immediately wanted to explore how the resources worked and asked when they could start using them. For my learners, especially those with special needs, having tools that are visually engaging and easy to manipulate makes a huge difference. The materials helped reduce frustration and increased participation, allowing students to feel successful and motivated.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our next steps include continuing to build foundational skills through structured, hands-on lessons while encouraging students to explain their thinking and reflect on their learning. These resources will be used throughout the year to reinforce key concepts, support IEP goals, and promote independence. Each book was different, but chronological, and sometimes they liked the twist, and others not so much.\r\n\r\nSeveral students even identified with some of the characters in the book and would say, \"that's happened to me\"!\r\n\r\nThey enjoyed this series so much that THEY wanted to write a fifth book themselves!
