These books will be used for leveled reading groups to make students excited about reading. They will have the opportunity to read, discuss and question the novel being read and interact with their peers while learning to read. The novels selected are diverse in culture and situations. I hope to be able to have meaningful conversations with students about the challenges the characters in the stories face and the challenges they face in their personal lives. These stories will give students the opportunity to relate to one another and recreate an inclusive classroom environment.

About my class
