Our school has already experienced a miracle of Monarch caterpillars covering all of our milkweed. Students discovered these amazing critters and started jumping up and down, screaming with delight like it was Christmas morning.. They also observed two caterpillars already making a chrysalis. We have read the butterfly book, and planted around 50 pots of milkweed for the Monarch release in the Spring. We will soon be installing the beautiful water fountain.
