We had to wait several weeks before it snowed again, but as soon as we saw snow on the sidewalk that first day we pulled the materials to the door and were ready to share them with students. The kindergartners got to use the sleds on the first day and it was like the joy of Disney World for them. Kids were screaming \"This is the best day of my life!\" We got to see kids practicing taking turns and being brave in trying new things.\r\n\r\nIt has not been a very snowy winter for for us so far so we are eagerly awaiting the next snow fall. Students in older grades haven't had the opportunity for sleds yet because of the lack of snow. We are hopeful that we can use their new outdoor experiences to create some strong writing within the classrooms.
