These resources give my students different ways to access and understand challenging math concepts. Calculators help students focus on the problem-solving process without becoming overwhelmed by difficult computations, while manipulatives allow them to physically see and work with mathematical concepts. The sensory materials also give students tools to help them stay focused, calm, and ready to learn.\r\nMy students were especially excited to have new hands-on materials to use during math. Being able to touch, move, and interact with manipulatives makes learning more engaging and helps make abstract math concepts easier to understand.\r\nI have especially noticed students who struggle with focus or become frustrated during math activities benefit from these resources. Having sensory tools available helps them regulate themselves, while the calculators and manipulatives provide additional support and confidence. These materials have helped create a classroom where students feel more comfortable taking risks, participating, and working through challenging math problems.","fullyFundedDate":1784391209920,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-every-learner-in-math/10192187/","projectTitle":"Empowering Every Learner in Math","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hackett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10478881"},{"teacherId":10220896,"projectId":9859525,"letterContent":"I am so very grateful for your contributions that allow me to purchase prizes and trinkets for my students.
