These resources have already made a wonderful difference in our classroom by giving my students more opportunities to practice math in a hands-on and engaging way.\r\n\r\nMy students are using the materials during our daily math lessons and independent practice. The math posters give students visual reminders of important math concepts, while the flashcards allow them to practice their math facts and build confidence with their skills. The mini clocks have been especially helpful as we learn about telling time. Students can physically move the hands on their clocks and practice showing different times. The play coins have also made learning about money much more meaningful because students can actually sort, count, and combine coins as they learn to identify their values.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw all of the new materials, they were so excited! They immediately wanted to look at everything and start using it. The mini clocks and coins were especially popular because students could touch and move the pieces while learning. It was exciting to see their enthusiasm and hear them talking with one another about the different math problems they could solve.\r\n\r\nOne special classroom moment happened when we were practicing money. Students worked together to count different groups of coins and figure out how much money they had. They were excited to discover that there are different ways to make the same amount. What could have been a simple worksheet activity became a hands-on learning experience where students were actively thinking, counting, and explaining their reasoning.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building our math skills through hands-on practice. We will be using the clocks as we learn more about telling time, the coins as we work with money, and the flashcards to strengthen our math facts. The posters will continue to be a helpful visual resource that students can refer to throughout our lessons.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping make math more interactive and exciting. Your generosity has provided resources that my students will be able to use again and again throughout the school year. Most importantly, you have helped give my students opportunities to practice math with confidence, curiosity, and excitement.","fullyFundedDate":1790119718597,"projectUrl":"project/math-fact-superstars-small-cards-big-l/10598493/","projectTitle":"Math Fact Superstars: Small Cards, BIG Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Prien","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2410828_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753406699524","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2410828"},{"teacherId":2410828,"projectId":10314781,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating individual whiteboards to our classroom! These whiteboards have already become a valuable part of our daily learning. My students use them for writing, spelling, practicing handwriting, answering questions, and showing their thinking. Having their own board gives every student the opportunity to practice without the worry of making mistakes on paper. They can try, erase, and try again!\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching my students use their new whiteboards during a writing and spelling lesson. Instead of waiting for me to call on someone, every student could write their answer and hold it up for me to see. The room was filled with students excitedly writing, erasing, and trying again. It was wonderful to see even my more hesitant writers participating and feeling successful.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new whiteboards, they were SO excited! To them, something as simple as having their own whiteboard and marker felt like a special gift. They couldn't wait to start writing on them. Their excitement quickly turned into engagement as they discovered all the different ways we could use them for learning.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using the whiteboards as we build our writing and spelling skills. We are working on putting our thoughts into complete sentences, practicing important spelling patterns and words, and becoming more confident writers. The whiteboards allow us to practice these skills again and again while making learning fun and interactive.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and giving them a resource they can use every single day.
