Coloring anatomy diagrams is an essential part to learning the different components of various body systems. In the past, students have colored photocopies of their workbook diagrams. Through \"Anatomy in Custom Color\" funded by our gracious donors, students have all their color diagrams in one central location- the book \"The Human Body Coloring Book.\" Coloring the diagrams helps students not only see the location of various parts, but also how those parts are connected to one another. For example, coloring the human heart not only reinforces the locations of various structures, it also gives students the opportunity to color code the parts showing the path blood flows through the heart and the oxidative state of the blood. \r\n\r\nMany of my students plan to pursue a field in which they will further study anatomy and physiology making them excited to take their custom colored books on to their college anatomy courses where they will have an opportunity to complete more of the color pages and review the pages we covered in high school. Through the semester, many students have been meticiulous in their coloring, striving to make an accurate and detailed study tool for their current tests and their future studies. \r\n\r\nWith diagrams designed for coloring, students are able to create far better paper models to use for studying and future reference. My students have used a variety of different media to color their diagrams such as colored pencils, pens, markers, and crayons. Again, thank you for bringing \"Anatomy in Custom Color\" to my anatomy and physiology classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1766949946744,"projectUrl":"project/anatomy-in-custom-color/9957457/","projectTitle":"Anatomy in Custom Color!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gonsoir","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10383395_orig.jpg?crop=331,331,x25,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1767046852225","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10383395"},{"teacherId":8968943,"projectId":9159644,"letterContent":"On behalf of our health science classroom, I want to sincerely thank you for your generous support. Because of your contributions, we were able to purchase blood pressure cuffs, medication administration tools, a phlebotomy practice arm, and thermometers—resources that have transformed the way our students learn. These tools bring lessons to life, allowing students to practice the same skills used daily by healthcare professionals. Instead of just reading about procedures, they now gain hands-on experience that builds both confidence and competence.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is not only preparing students for certifications and future healthcare training programs, but it is also inspiring them to pursue careers in nursing, medicine, therapy, and beyond. The chance to practice real-world skills at this stage of their education gives them a strong foundation and a clearer vision of the important roles they can play in the medical field.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and their futures. Your support ensures that our classroom is more than just a place to learn about healthcare—it is a place where the next generation of medical professionals begins their journey.
