The calculators have been equally transformative—allowing students to move past basic arithmetic hurdles and focus on multi-step problem solving, data analysis, and higher-level mathematical thinking.\r\n\r\nWhat excites the students most is the independence these tools give them. Several of my students who previously struggled to stay focused during independent work have really warmed up to these new materials.
