My seniors were excited about having fresh books to pick. They chose to read \"A Man Called Ove\" first.\r\n\r\nWhile reading, we have been looking at and talking about how we learn more and more about Ove's history and how that helps us understand him better as a person. We have also talked about whether he has been changing throughout the book or if he is returning to who he used to be.\r\n\r\nThe book fit in well with a presenter we had at school and some whole school lessons we've covered that focused on how what we can see and what we know about a person is not always the whole story.
