Your kindness has given my preschool students opportunities to learn, explore, and create in ways that are meaningful and exciting to them.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite memories with our Tuff Trays happens every fall. I have a student who absolutely **loves making apple pies**. When the tray is filled with pretend apples, pie crust, cinnamon, and other materials, this student becomes completely engaged in the activity. What may look like simple pretend play is actually a wonderful learning experience. My student is practicing fine motor skills while scooping and pouring, following directions, using new vocabulary, making choices, interacting with classmates, and developing independence—all while doing something they truly enjoy.\r\n\r\nThat is what I love most about these trays. They allow me to take a lesson and turn it into something my students can **touch, feel, explore, and experience**. Throughout the year, we have used them for everything from making apple pies in the fall, to creating snowy penguin scenes in the winter, to water exploration and summer fun. Each new setup brings so much excitement to our classroom.\r\n\r\nMy students' reactions when they see a new Tuff Tray activity are priceless. They immediately want to explore, ask questions, and get their hands busy. For my preschool students, especially those who need additional support, these multisensory experiences provide a way to participate and learn that feels natural and joyful. They can practice academic, communication, social, sensory, and motor skills without even realizing how much they are learning.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your donation has also reached beyond my classroom. I have been able to share the Tuff Trays and the materials I have collected with several other preschool teachers in our building. Your generosity is helping create hands-on learning experiences for even more young children.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, we will keep finding new ways to use our Tuff Trays to bring our lessons to life. There will be new seasons to explore, new stories to recreate, new concepts to practice, and plenty of opportunities for my students to learn through hands-on play.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and for helping make our classroom a place where learning is exciting, engaging, and accessible to every child. **Because of you, something as simple as making an apple pie can become a moment of learning, confidence, and joy.**\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness and generosity!","fullyFundedDate":1776120155005,"projectUrl":"project/tray-of-possibilities-play-that-meets-e/9960235/","projectTitle":"Tray of Possibilities: Play That Meets Every Learner","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Merritt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10385019_orig.jpg?crop=1088,1088,x870,y208&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1790113307830","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10385019"},{"teacherId":8979394,"projectId":9934017,"letterContent":"Thank you again for your generous donations to my project \"Together we play, together we grow!\" The materials that were provided by your donations have helped my caseload of 15 students to work on developing their play skills and their ability to play with their peers. \r\nWe have been able to work on taking turns, working together on a cooperative task, asking for materials, trading materials, solving problems together and having fun! \r\nThey have really enjoyed the magnetic building blocks and the flower toy.
